Sarah (she/her) teaches in the World Languages and Humanities Departments. She grew up in a bilingual home and has always loved languages and literature. She received her PhD from UT Austin, where she researched how to conscientiously address difficult topics in the second language classroom. She has taught French at various levels, from pre-k to higher-education classrooms, since 2013. She continues to offer Trauma-Informed Teaching workshops at UT for staff and faculty who request it. Her favorite things are her dog, Norman, Stephen King books, and true-crime podcasts.
