Anna is ecstatic to serve as the Assistant Director at the Alexandria campus. She enjoys the day to day opportunities to collaborate with some of the most compassionate, eager, understanding, and passionate educators in the field of Education. As Assistant Director, she works closely with all teachers to ensure the academic integrity of our program and providing professional development opportunities for staff to ensure they are properly prepared to meet our students where they are, in the classroom.
Anna has been in education for over 10 years. She obtained her Masters in Educational Psychology from George Mason University in 2013, and is continuing on with her Doctorate in Special Education. She is currently working on her dissertation, which looks at the impact of self-regulated learning strategies on improving reading comprehension for students with high incidence disabilities.
Anna lives with her husband and son in Arlington, Virginia. She thoroughly enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling as often as possible, and her favorite place on earth is Emerald Isle, NC.
