Education

I graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I continued my education at ASU, receiving a Master's in Reading Education with a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Experience

With five years of experience in education and a background in marketing and outreach, I am dedicated to helping families find the best educational path for their child. As Director of Admissions, I focus on creating a welcoming, supportive experience while building strong connections within the local professional community. I am passionate about helping students grow academically and personally, always keeping the student at the center of everything I do.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • I've taught clogging (a traditional American folk dance) for 12+ years.
  • I have a Dachshund puppy named Willie
  • I love traveling to new places with my friends and family.
