Dr. Max Maisel, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Beachfront Anxiety Specialists, a group practice in Redondo Beach specializing in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. He is passionate about teaching evidence-based and process-based approaches to OCD, including ERP and ACT. He is particularly interested in applying integrative behavioral models to more complex presentations, including OCD, tic disorders/Tourette syndrome, and BFRBs. Dr. Maisel has served for five years on the board of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), including roles as Member-at-Large and President, and has been an active member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) for many years. He regularly provides advanced training and consultation for clinicians and presents at national and international conferences.
