The teen years can feel overwhelming — for young people and for the adults who care about them. Between academic pressure, social changes, and growing up in an always-connected world, many teens are carrying more anxiety than we realize.

If you’re supporting an anxious teen, you’re not alone — and there are meaningful, research-backed ways to help.

Join Fusion Academy for “SPACE to Grow: Helping Anxious Teens Build Resilience,” a virtual conversation with Dr. Kerry Pecho and Dr. Ashley Leja of the Chicago Neurodevelopmental Center.

Together, we’ll explore:
• What anxiety can look like in teens — and how to recognize the early signs
• How caregivers can respond in supportive ways that build confidence rather than reinforce fear
• Practical tools to help teens step out of unhelpful thought patterns and move toward what matters to them
• Ways to strengthen connection and communication during stressful seasons

Dr. Leja and Dr. Pecho are clinical and school psychologists who are deeply committed to helping families feel empowered, understood, and supported. Their work with the SPACE model gives parents concrete strategies while honoring the unique strengths of each teen and family.
