Niki spent her childhood in a small Northern California town, spending one year of High School as an exchange student in New Zealand. After college graduation, she worked in the investment and brokerage industries. She took time off to have two wonderful girls, currently aged 14 and 16. She was an active volunteer at the school, including being 4-time room parent and chairman of several school committees. She also was a math tutor for many years, and while she loved helping her students, she felt the challenge of balancing instruction and her kids’ activities. Fusion Academy is a perfect fit of everything she loves about teaching and mentoring with the added bonus of a wonderful learning environment and time to attend her kids’ soccer, track and cheer.
Hobbies: Her hobbies include piano, running and volunteering at an animal shelter. A self-proclaimed “dreadful athlete” in high school, she has completed 3 triathlons and most recently her first half-marathon. She hopes to inspire her students to set goals, try new things, and keep an open mind, because they might be surprised where life will lead them.
