Music Production, Recording Arts, & Math Teacher/Mentor
Adam teaches music production, recording arts, and math at Fusion Academy. He has a strong passion for exploring the intersection of music, technology, and the science/math fundamental to making interesting and exciting productions. His love of combining science and art first became apparent while studying at CSU, Chico, where he earned a B.A. in Music Industry & Technology:
Recording Arts and a B.S. in Environmental Science: Hydrology. During his time in college, Adam discovered his natural inclination for teaching when he was hired by happenstance to teach a 2nd semester calculus problem solving course. He quickly became enthralled by the thrill and deep sense of satisfaction inherent in teaching and the rest is history.
These days Adam is the executive director of The Town Square, a youth nonprofit that challenges high school students to direct and manage creative projects in film, music, photography, and other popular art forms as a means to practice skills in self-empowerment, entrepreneurship, project management, and community building/collaboration.
