Post Secondary Counselor
Samantha DelGiudice went to the University at Albany and received a BA in Sociology, minoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She then went on to get her MS degree in Professional School Counseling at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. Sam felt she had a calling in the field of helping others emotionally and socially; but being able to help students was something she was very passionate about. Assisting the students of this generation to find their unique strengths and guiding them toward their successful future is her goal.
During her time at Russell Sage, Sam worked in the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) department and the Career Planning department. Here she learned how much she enjoyed working with students trying to plan for their post-secondary futures. Working as a time management counselor within the HEOP program allowed her to gain knowledge on what colleges look for in a student, as she aided the director in the interviewing and admissions process. Having experience among many levels of schooling, along with her mindfulness and yoga education allows Sam to further help students here on many different platforms.
