Jill is a certified School Counselor in the State of New York. She specializes in colleges that are a “Fusion fit” and/or boast having specialized student support programs. Additionally, Jill is a licensed and board certified Creative Arts Therapist. She completed her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Hofstra University, and has been working as Post-Secondary Counselor at Fusion Academy ever since. Furthermore, Jill has earned her Master’s degree from Hofstra University in Creative Art Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts Education. Her motto is “You can never be overeducated or overdressed”.
Jill’s passion for the helping others, adolescents, and art, are apparent by her years of work experience. Jill is grateful for her years of experience as a Post-Secondary Counselor at Fusion Academy. Jill is holds a position within the Nassau Counselor’s Association as a CAP conference committee member. Prior to Fusion, she worked as an Art Therapist at The Holliswood Hospital as well as a Bereavement Group Facilitator with The Child Help Partnership of St. John’s University. When she is not working, she strives to maintain a balanced life by spending lots of time with her husband, two
children (with another on the way), and their crazy dog. Some of her favorite things include traveling, art museums, the outdoors, running, and chocolate milk.
