Deeanne Hackett

Director of Student Development

Deeanne is extremely passionate about student development and leadership. Throughout her extensive career in education, she has worked diligently to provide opportunities for students primarily through co-curricular activities and extra-curricular programming. Deeanne has a diverse background in higher education as an Administrator and Adjunct Professor. She earned a Master’s Degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also received certificates in Human Resource Administration; Global Leadership Administration and Administrative Science. Deeanne has taken on various roles to create opportunities for students to enhance their academic, personal and professional growth. She was appointed and sworn in by former Paterson Mayor Jeff Jones to serve as Commissioner for the Passaic County-Bergen County: HIV Health Services Planning Council. She was also elected President of the Home School Council for Paterson Public Schools. Deeanne has also served as President of the Board of Trustee’s for CAPCO Resource.

Deeanne enjoys spending quality time with her daughter. She loves her Caribbean heritage which includes: “island hopping,” spending most of her time on the beautiful beaches during her visits and collecting cultural art.
