Zach Lewis came from a small Mississippi town, but he has always dreamed of living in After majoring in philosophy and physics at the University of Mississippi, he moved to New York City to complete his ambition of film journalism and rigorous academia. He teaches a variety of humanities courses including philosophy, film studies, and politics.
Zach also contributes to many local and international journals and publications. He is the editor-in-chief of Year Zero, a journal about the intersection of film and radical politics. He often brings these skills into the classroom and advocates for developing children’s abilities of self-editing and analytical reading.
Zach enjoys white walls of museums, the dark familial atmosphere in the movie theater, and the warm conversations with friends.
