Originally from Korea, YoonJu moved to the States when she was 13 years old. She understood the joy of sharing knowledge since she was always helping her two younger brothers with their schoolwork, so naturally she was drawn to the field of education. She chose a major in linguistics in college because of her love and passion for language. After receiving her B.A . in Linguistics, YoonJu decided to further pursue education in applying theoretical knowledge to practical teaching of language. She has worked with many ESL learners and international students at the college level, teaching them grammar and college level academic reading and writing. YoonJu loves traveling around the world and learning about different cultures and languages. In addition, she loves traveling through time and space by reading books and watching movies. YoonJu currently teaches English and history at Fusion, and enjoys having discussions with students and hearing their thoughts.
Hobbies: Playing ukulele, listening to music, cooking, Taekwondo
