Before becoming the Assistant Director at our Miracle Mile campus, Vosgan Mekhitarian started his career at Fusion Academy as a music and recording arts teacher at our Huntington Beach campus. There, Vosgan facilitated student learning and promoted appreciation of the audible arts. Vosgan is not only committed to helping students achieve academically, but also to helping students refine themselves as human beings. He received his BA in Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. After working numerous years in adult education, more specifically ESL, he decided to go back to school. He then earned his MA in Counseling from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Meanwhile, Vosgan spent all of his free time in his 6×4 home studio honing his craft of songwriting, recording, and producing. He has been fortunate enough to have his music featured in commercials, short films, and a movie trailer.
Now at Fusion, to be able to combine his passion for music, teaching and mentoring has been a blessing. Something you may not know about Vosgan is that when he was 9 years old, his parents sent him to a monastery in Venice, Italy, to study for 4 months with the seminaries.
