Victor is a Science and Math teacher at Fusion Academy and holds a dual teaching certification in Biology and Chemistry. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree in Education from University of Pennsylvania.
Victor spent the last year working in the Philadelphia Public School system at two dynamic inquiry based magnet and public high schools. As a classroom teacher, Victor worked with students of all levels, including highly engaged exceptional learners, gifted and talented students, students with disabilities, such as ADHD and autism, and students who struggled in science and mathematics. This diversity of experience gives Victor the confidence and preparation to meet the needs of every student who enters his Fusion classroom.
Victor is particularly skilled at working with students one-on-one. His passion for science and his ability to relate the material to students’ interests is reflected in his enthusiasm for education and his desire to make math and science accessible for all students.
In addition to Victor’s experience teaching math and science, he also has an extensive background in the field of technology and has worked in multiple laboratories gaining exposure to several different fields, including three dimensional printing, fiber science, and electrical engineering.
