Tyce graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelors in K-12 Health and Physical Education. He was born and raised near the capital of Montana, Helena, and attended school in Missoula. Tyce has over a decade of experience working with children, at the age of 25! He started his teaching career at fourteen as a counselor in training at a YMCA overnight camp. He returned to that same camp for four years while also helping run the basketball and soccer programs. He continued with his passion for working with children by declaring an education major in college and volunteering at the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the YMCA. He has also worked as a day camp head counselor and camp director as well as at Camp Walden in Upstate New York as a bunk counselor and woodshop instructor. Upon graduating from college, he relocated to a family ranch where he helped with growing organic food and raising pigs, cows, chickens and turkeys. He also substituted various K-12 classes in neighboring school districts during this time. Tyce relocated to NYC mid-August and is very excited about getting to teach a variety of subjects.
Tyce plays competitive volleyball in a league in NYC as well as in tournaments across the country. He loves coaching, especially volleyball, and in his spare time builds and repurposes furniture as well as painting and refurnishing it as well.
