Twister Murchison

Teacher/Mentor

Twister Murchison is a History, Life Skills, and Screenwriting teacher at our Miracle Mile campus, who wants to help every student tell a good story. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where he was Student Body President. He also earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Motion Picture Producing from the University of Southern California. With his writing partner, Twister has written on several animated film projects at Twentieth Century Fox, including working with a prominent Russian director on a major science fiction film in that country. Previously, he was the assistant to the president of Fox Animation. Twister enjoys reading mystery novels, devouring American political news, and playing as much tennis as he can, even though he lacks a viable second serve. The one thing you’ll notice about Twister the first time you meet him is not only his height, and contagious smile, but that he’s so welcoming, it’ll feel like you’ve known him for years.
