Tony grew up in El Paso, Texas, where his love of all things football was cultivated. It is also there where doctor’s visits became a regular activity. He has broken 8 bones playing football! After graduating from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in government and a minor in psychology, he worked in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the local high school as a behavior technician. This sparked his love of teaching and mentoring and led him ultimately to Fusion’s door.
After some time of living in Oklahoma, he quickly decided he missed the wonderful state of Texas. He and his lovely wife, Ruthie, chose to move to Dallas and are happy to be much closer to family – especially since their family of 2 became a family of three when Gracie arrived! He has been with Fusion Dallas since its inception and teaches both history and computer courses. He is also currently working on a master’s degree in sports psychology.
When he isn’t working at Fusion, spending time with family, or obsessing about football, he is working on his Bacon Log business. You can catch him at the Richardson Farmer’s Market on Saturdays. Sundays, he is glued to the TV cheering on his beloved Niners.
