Stephanie Hamilton

Teacher/Mentor

Catholic University of America,. B.A. in Politics. Minors: English, Philosophy, Theology

Stephanie obtained her degree from The Catholic University of America, the nation’s pontifical university. In the heart of D.C., CUA allowed her to follow her passion for American political thought while having an amazing experience in the nation’s capital. During her four years at CUA, she participated in annual campaign trips, attended the 2008 inauguration of Barack Obama, and participated in two study abroad programs: Rome and London. In Rome, Stephanie lived atop the church Sant’Agnese in Agone, in Piazza Navona, (her room looked out onto the Fountain of Four Rivers) and travelled throughout Italy and to Amsterdam and Paris. During her stay in London, she worked as a Researcher for Parliament, for the Member of Parliament David Amess. After graduating from Catholic, she became a full-time tutor, living in Florida for a year before moving back home to Westlake Village, where she continued to tutor middle school, high school, and college students. In August of this year Stephanie became a teacher here at Fusion, and she is so excited for the opportunity to teach, learn, and be a part of something so amazing.

Hobbies: Stephanie is especially drawn to any activity that finds itself associated to Fall: reading, farmer’s market perusing, coffee drinking, and sweater wearing. Listening to her parents’ old records, or buying her own, along with long walks through a newfound city, or small town, are some of her favorite things. Her dream job is to be a writer; to be free to travel, and explore the world around her, to get lost within the beauty of the world and the written word.
