Amanda Stutsman teaches History and English at Fusion Academy after 5 years of teaching at charter schools in the South Bay. She has lived in California her entire life and graduated with Honors from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in US history. While at Santa Cruz Amanda worked at the Early Childhood Development Center on campus and went on to teach preschool and Pre-K prior to getting her teaching credential. She loved her time in Santa Cruz because of its easy access to the ocean and the mountains, Amanda’s two favorite places.
When Amanda is not teaching she enjoys attending sporting events and spending time outdoors with her friends. She enjoys spending as much time as possible on the beach. She also enjoys traveling. In the past she has taken her students on trips to the East Coast that included exploring Boston, Philadelphia, Gettysburg Washington DC and New York City. Amanda is hoping to be able to do more traveling soon.
