Amanda Lin is our Director of Homework Cafe. She is here to answer any questions about student life, parent involvement and school wide events. She started her Fusion journey as one of our Art teacher/mentors. She quickly made strides to widen her scope of support with in our community as she took on the roll is Director of First Impressions. She is very happy and excited to be back directly interacting and supporting our student, families and educators as the Director of Homework Cafe.
Amanda Lin graduated from San Diego State University as one of the top 1% of leaders on campus with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater (emphasis in Theater for young Audiences and creative curriculum). In 2013 she achieved one of her life long goals to become a designer as she graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco with a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design.
Amanda Lin has been an educator for over 15 years. She has taught and connected with students ages 2-18 through her knowledge of child development and use of creative curriculum.
Her favorite things include rocky road ice cream, fudge covered Oreo’s, camping in the redwoods, singing and dancing anywhere, putting her feet in the ocean, collecting rocks, writing and telling stories, sewing, the smell of art stores. She loves building environments which inspire people’s creative juices to flow!
