Liz Hayman, LMFT received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of San Francisco with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems approaches. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University. Throughout her training, Liz has worked with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents throughout the Bay Area. She has worked with medical patients bedside at California Pacific Medical Center hospital using expressive arts therapy. She also completed training at Family Service Agency of Marin where she worked with adults, families, and teens in substance abuse recovery and co-facilitated teen and women’s groups. Additionally at FSA Marin, she received training in Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). Liz also trained at the Daly City Youth Health center working with adolescents and their parents and running girls support groups in local high schools. As well as working in various community mental health agencies and schools, she has worked in private practice settings throughout San Francisco and currently runs her own practice based in San Francisco.
