Sara was born and raised in Los Angeles with her mother, father, and Cocker Spaniel (may she rest in peace). She received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from UCLA and a Masters in Education from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Sara has worked with children, whether as a nanny, assistant teacher, or camp counselor, for the past ten years.
An art lover and advocate, Sara teaches art classes to kids on the weekends, and dabbles in art-making during her spare time. She also enjoys exploring different hiking trails around Southern California, spending time with her nieces and nephew, taking pictures, reading great books, seeing live music, baking cookies, and snuggling with her Boxer mix, Bettie.
Having spent the majority of her education at small private schools , Sara is excited to be a part of an intimate learning community that fosters individualized learning and meaningful relationships.
