Sara Jewell teaches Visual Arts and English Literature at Fusion Academy Princeton. Sara is a graduate of Hampshire College where she majored in Graphic Narrative and Visual Literacy. Her variegated educational background includes a community-engaged learning semester working with children to dramatize children’s literature at Hampshire’s Early Learning Center, a talk on Shaun Tan’s The Rabbits at the Eric Carle Museum’s annual educator’s night in 2015, and a multi-medium graphic memoir as her senior thesis project which was projected on the Hampshire magic board. Sara also works with international literary/musical project Waywords and Meansigns, setting James Joyce’s famously esoteric novel Finnegans Wake to music with contributors from all over the world. In her free time, she enjoys writing, drawing, reading, and running.
