Samantha DelGiudice is originally from Long Island, NY. She went to the University at Albany and received a BA in Sociology, minoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Sam then went on to get her MS degree in school counseling at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She felt she always had a calling in the field of helping others emotionally, socially, and physically; but being able to help students was something she was very passionate about. Growing up is gradually getting harder for the children of this generation, and being able to guide them toward the right path is fulfilling.
Sam found yoga while in graduate school, and immediately fell in love. Yoga to her is something that allows her to become healthy from the inside out, specifically aiding in subsiding the stress and anxiety that life can throw at you unexpectedly. Sam decided that this was another way she would be able to help others, and began her yoga teacher training. Yoga is a never ending journey full of so much positivity, empathy, and kindness. Yoga challenges you mentally and physically, helping you grow every day.
Sam found that teaching yoga aided her in helping others, but in a different capacity then counseling. When the opportunity arose to teach children’s yoga, she was ecstatic. She began teaching yoga to kids in 2015, and was amazed at how much the students enjoyed and absorbed the information on yoga and mindfulness. At Fusion, Sam is excited to use her previous knowledge and insight to help students grow and succeed at all levels.
