Ryan joined the South Bay Fusion family as a Math and Science teacher in mid 2012. He was raised in Northern Michigan, and attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. After receiving his masters degree in Physics early 2012, and teaching throughout his graduate program, Ryan realized the classroom was the place to be. He has also had the opportunity to teach at Fusion Solana Beach, and has recently signed on with the UVC team while pursuing his doctorate degree in Computational Science at SDSU. He has conducted research in black hole formation, and is currently studying quantum many-body systems. Ryan has a deep passion for helping students develop technical skills to bridge the gap between mathematics, science and technology. In his free time you can find Ryan reading a book at Balboa Park, exploring local exotic cuisine, or tabletop gaming with his friends.
