Ross Wagner is proud to help students conquer math and science as a teacher at Fusion Academy. He earned his B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with a minor in Literature: Writing at the University of California, San Diego before jetting overseas to earn his M.S. in Biology from Århus Universitet in Århus, Denmark. Returning once again to his native country, he dedicated himself to science education, first by teaching lab classes at a prominent science museum and then serving as a lead instructor for a program bringing engineering education to children of all ages. He has also been a lifelong tutor, aiding students in math and science for many years and currently volunteers providing science and statistics tutoring as well as mentoring for at-risk students at UCSC. In his free time, he enjoys writing poetry and short stories, watching Danish football or handball (Go FC Midtjylland!), creating duct tape art pieces, and training in shot put.
