Becca helps students at Fusion tap into their creative minds through music and the arts. Prior to Fusion, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music and is a Board Certified Music Therapist. During her senior year in college, Becca worked as a Peer Advisor, counseling incoming freshman and guiding them through their first year in Boston and at Berklee. She was also a leader and advocate in the LGBT community at Berklee where she attended and conducted diversity seminars around Massachusetts.
Becca completed her clinical internships with various populations around the Boston area, including patients with dementia at Sherrill House Rehabilitation Center, children with special needs at the Kennedy Day School, youth with chronic illnesses at Franciscan Hospital for Children, and youth with dual autism and psychiatric diagnoses at McLean Hospital.
After graduating, Becca worked as a toddler and preschool teacher in Boston and earned her Early Education Certification. She has since worked in music therapy both one-on-one and in groups with children with special needs.
In her free time, Becca enjoys going to live music events, museums, spending time with her friends and family, and is dedicated to healthy living, mind, body, and spirit. She performs as a singer/songwriter both solo and with bands around the tri-state area.
