Rebecca teaches math and science at Fusion Academy. She received her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and went on to graduate school at Chapman University. Rebecca’s teaching career began at the Home and Hospital program with the San Diego Unified School District. She then moved to Northern California and taught math in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. It was here where she founded the Transitional Learning Communities program still used throughout the district to this day. Rebecca studied dance in the U.S. and France and performed for several years as a professional dancer. In her spare time, she wrangles her three sons and attends as many Comic Cons as possible.
