Rebeca is the Spanish Teacher at Fusion Academy’s Fairfield Campus. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology and two master’s degrees–in Business Administration and Pedagogy, at the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in the Dominican Republic. She has 14 years of academic experience teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses (Introduction to Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Motivation for a high performance, Human Resources, and others). She was also the Psychology Department Director for three years at PUCMM, where her greater achievement was redesigning the academic program for the undergraduate psychology degree, meeting the international and local regulations. Further, she has over 15 years of experience managing and consulting Human Resources departments for large corporations. In 2017, she moved to Connecticut and has been teaching Spanish.
In her free time, Rebeca enjoys spending time with her son, husband and her dog Romeo, the new addition to her family. She also likes to cook, travel, watch movies and read. A fun fact about Rebeca is that she grew up in a small, but large extended family consisting of 1 sister and 28 cousins!
