Raquel believes that as educators our role is to help produce kind, compassionate, tolerant, and overall well-rounded individuals, which is why Fusion was such a great fit for her. Before coming to The Woodlands campus as Master Teacher, she was a Spanish teacher at the Warner Center campus in California. She also lived in Spain for the summer of 2013 as part of a study abroad program. She loves to travel and one of the things on her ‘Bucket List’ is to be in every one of the fifty US states…she is currently at 20. Raquel plans to begin her graduate studies sometime in the coming year. She is amazed at the growth Fusion has undergone thus far, and is excited about the future of Fusion and what that will mean for our youth nationwide!
Raquel holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.
Likes to cook, loves to bake. Given that she has over fifteen aunts and uncles, and over forty first cousins alone, she spends a significant amount of time with family.
“Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.” -Earl Nightingale
