Rachel Ingham is a long time visitor and first time resident of northern Virginia. She is very excited to share her love of mathematics with the students at Fusion Alexandria!
Rachel grew up in Bowling Green, KY – home of the Corvette. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Bellarmine University of Louisville. After completing her Masters degree, Rachel remained at Miami University of Ohio as an adjunct Calculus professor. Tired of snowy Midwestern winters, she relocated to sunny Savannah, GA to teach math in the IB Diploma Program at St. Andrew’s School. During her three years at St. Andrew’s, Rachel enjoyed mentoring the Math Club and National Honor Society and helping with the spring musical productions. Most recently, Rachel lived in Augusta, GA tutoring students of all ages as the Education Director at Mathnasium.
She recently married the love of her life, and can’t wait to explore the DC Metro with her husband. She likes reading, rubbing her cat’s belly, and a hot cup of tea.
