Hailing from the sunshine state of Florida, Quentin Cotton joins the Loudoun campus as the Director of Student Development, coming with an education background in Biology and Psychology. With a strong passion for education and development, Quentin has had the opportunity to serve as the Dean of Students at Virginia Union University, and has worked with college age students for more than 10 years. As one of the original founders and developers for the Virginia Union University College for African American Men (VCAAM) and the creator of The Talented Tenth, Quentin’s drive goes towards ensuring that young men have the right tools to succeed. Quentin is dedicated to all student’s in helping them realize their true potential and reaching their goals.
In his spare time, Quentin enjoys going to the movies, playing and watching tennis, and of course traveling and shopping.
