Prentiss Koldyke

Director of Student Development

Prentiss was born and raised in Lincoln Park, Chicago so it is only fitting that she joined the Fusion family so close to home. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Vassar College, where she also double minored in education and Hispanic studies. During her time in college, Prentiss worked for Vassar’s admissions office while also interning for several education non-profits over the summers. However, her passion to work with children emerged long before college when she began babysitting at 10-years-old. She continued to work with children as a coach and mentor throughout her adolescence. As the Director of Student Development, Prentiss hopes to develop strong relationships with the students and their families in order to support them academically, emotionally, and in any other way possible.

Prentiss loves to try new things and is always up for an adventure. She has traveled around the world experiencing new cultures, trying different foods, and exploring exotic environments. Her favorite trip so far has been to Rwanda and looks forward to returning in the future. She is also very athletic and cannot wait till her puppy, Boomer, is old enough to go on runs with her. Just ask and she would be happy to show you a photo of him!
