Pamela Butler is an educator who has served for many years as a Science/Math teacher. She has successfully taught the subjects of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Earth Science and Environmental Science. Also, she has taught and tutored Mathematics ranging in courses from Algebra to Calculus. She has designed and implemented Curriculum focused on STEM and Common Core requirements. She has conducted Professional Development workshops specifically for the introduction of Technology into the classroom.
Pamela attended Fordham University and received a degree in Natural Science with an emphasis on Biological and Physical Science. Pamela also attended Fordham University Graduate School of Business srudying Management Information Systems, as well as, the College of Saint Rose for Graduate Education studies. She has developed demonstrative Test-taking methodologies and strategies that have proven effective in passing the NY State Regents Exams in Biology, Physics, Environmental Science, Algebra and Trigonometry.
Pamela is a teacher who is primarily concerned with imparting a life-long love of learning upon her students. She has accelerated in classrooms that were diverse both academically and socially. This background has developed an accurate understanding of the individual needs and learning styles of each student. Her goal is to elevate and support the cognitive and academic enrichment of every child. She is honored to be Who’s Who of American Teachers and the recipient of the National Urban League’s Onyx Plaque for Outstanding Contributions to Education.
