Nicole is a teacher and mentor of Social Studies and American Sign Language (ASL). She attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Studies with two minors in History and Political Science. Immediately after Clarion she attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania for her Masters in Special Education. She graduated Cum Laude from both under graduate and graduate school as well as Honors Societies Phi Alpha Theta (History), Kappa Delta Pi (Education), and Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science).
Before coming to Fusion Academy, Nicole worked as a Clinical and Behavioral Specialist in Pennsylvania from 2012-2017. During this time she worked with both children and adults with different diagnosis such as Autism, Borderline Personality, and other IDD’s. She also became certified in Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBA). Nicole recently relocated to Dallas to get back into her passion of teaching.
Nicole enjoys traveling and experiencing new things. She enjoys “paying it forward” and helping others when she can. Nicole also really enjoying learning new things that she can apply to better her career and those she is working with. Nicole traveled to Dubai and Sri Lanka last year where she was able to ride an elephant and camel as well as hug a penguin in an indoor ski resort located in Dubai.
