Nick was born in El Cajon, CA where he grew up playing soccer and music throughout San Diego County. Initially intrigued in studying the financial market, Nick attended UCLA as an Economics major, but eventually switched to the field of Cognitive Science when he began taking psychology and neuroscience courses under renowned professors. At UCLA, Nick performed research under the Bjork Learning and Forgetting Lab, assisting in designing alternative methods for human learning & memory. He also helped co-found the campus program “Music Cognition at UCLA”, where he focused on how music affects brain development. Nick has a passion for teaching and believes that every student has the potential to grow as scholars and individuals when the information is presented in the right way. Nick is excited to be a part of the Fusion team!
