Kirsten comes to Fusion with more than 20 years’ experience working with non-traditional learners in a variety of settings. Prior to joining the Fusion team Kirsten worked as a Camp Director with middle school and high school students who have social cognitive challenges. Additionally, Kirsten spent several years running a nanny-recruitment agency for families of children with special needs. She has worked as a tutor and is trained in Lindamood/Bell programs, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis. Kirsten is passionate about helping others achieve their personal best, emotionally, socially and academically.
As the Director of the Homework Café she provides students with guidance and assistance in completing their homework assignments and provides fun and enriching extracurricular activities for students.
Kirsten earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from the University of California in Santa Cruz. In her free-time she enjoys hiking, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
