Mo has a strong passion for math and science and an advanced ability to teach these subjects. The joy he experiences through math and science motivates him not just to teach, but to help his students understand how concepts are related to career pathways and to our daily lives. His philosophy of teaching is to allow students to become their own teachers and to help them find their own best ways to learn.
Mo was born and raised in Tehran. He graduated in 2011 from the University of Garmsar in Iran, where he earned a B.A. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Electronic Circuits. After working in the petroleum industry, Mo decided to see the world and discover himself. He lived in San Diego and Los Angeles before landing in Marin, where he found Fusion Academy and is working towards his second bachelor’s in math. Mo is excited to continue his family’s tradition of teaching – most of his relatives are teachers, and his last name means “teacher” in Farsi!
