She enjoys collecting sea shells and drift wood, travel, paddle-boarding, hiking, going on adventures, seeing live music, making art and spending time with her family, friends and dogs named Cooper, Maggie and Ziggy. She refers to them as her baby hippos, because of their personality, size and weight. In 2013 Michelle created a small side business selling and displaying her artwork at local craft fairs on Long Island. She also sells her work to stores in Rhode Island, New Jersey and Long Island.
