Michael Grejsen teaches Art and Music at Fusion Academy. In 2000 he moved to the east bay from a small beach town in Australia where he grew up folding paper airplanes and playing the piano, alto sax and acoustic guitar. He received his B.A. in studio art from San Francisco State University with a focus on ceramics, photography and textiles. Michael has a rich history of creative instruction and is dedicated to the excavation of each unique student’s individual artistic interest. In his spare time Michael is rarely seen without a guitar or camera in his hands, and he is still very actively folding paper airplanes along with other origami creations. He also shares a full ceramic studio with his mother in their hometown where he strives to find new and exciting ways to create unique work on the potter’s wheel.
