University of California, Irvine, B.A. Global Cultures
Megan grew up an hour north of Grand Rapids, Michigan in Rockford and moved to California when she was 13-years-old. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Global Cultures with an emphasis in Southeast Asian Cultures. She is passionate about the rich culture and history that stems from the Southeast Asian region including Japan, China, and the Philippines. She is most interested in how the world is now more than ever, becoming a global community connected by digital platforms.
Megan has been with Fusion for over two years, and considers herself lucky to be a part of an institution that is so passionate about inspiring students to learn. She knows that every day will be different in a challenging and exciting way with many opportunities to see student growth. When Megan is not working, she loves to work out at her local Crossfit gym with her husband and play with her oh-so-active Bengal kittens Achilles and Orion.
