Mark is a teacher of English, French and German at Fusion. After attending high school in Germany, Mark went on to get his Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages at the University of Oklahoma. It was there that he also studied Theatre History, Film Journalism and English. In Los Angeles, he studied acting with legendary actress and drama coach Nina Foch. He has continued to use his languages to tutor and to translate scripts and television shows ranging from MTV’s “Making the Band” to “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and served as dialect coach on the latter. His love and study of film has led him to write programs for various classic film revivals. He used that film knowledge when he worked for many years at Virgin Entertainment as a buyer for the film/video department.
In his free time, Mark has been involved in theatre from The California Shakespeare Co. to Westchester Playhouse (where he received a Best Acting Award in 2013.) He is also a proud member of SAG/AFTRA.
Mark has cultivated a rare photographic collection on Vivien Leigh, which has been featured in the centenary biography on her life and the ” A&E Biography” on which he also consulted.
