Mairead Corrigan, LMHC, attended the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate degree. After a few post-undergraduate years working as a published physio-psych researcher in California, Mairead returned to New York. There, she worked as a teacher for different age groups and grades, including teaching at-risk youth in a GED program supported by the New York Dept of Education. Working with a high risk population inspired Mairead to return to school and earn a graduate degree in Psychology. She did post graduate work in a psycho dynamic institute to compliment the behavioral training she’d previously obtained. Mairead has worked with both adults and children in very demanding but rewarding clinics. In addition, Mairead has been a liaison to the NYC public school children who are at risk of hospitalizations. She loves working with teenagers and is passionate about helping students to meet their goals.
