Born and raised a California baby, Lindsey moved to North Carolina during her high school years. She went on to complete her two Bachelor of Art degrees in Communication and Spanish at North Carolina State University. She’s got a traveler’s soul and has been all around the world. From road-tripping up the west coast of Australia, backpacking through Europe, to riding camels through the desert of Western Sahara, Lindsey has an undying passion for adventure and a zest for life. When she’s not teaching Spanish or practicing yoga at Fusion, she enjoys backpacking trips, day hikes, local music, and all of this amazing food the Bay Area has to offer.
Lindsey has always had a knack for learning languages. At just 18 months old, she could sing the entire Greek alphabet. With over 12 years of experience studying the Spanish language, living six months in a quaint Spanish town tucked away in the province of Galicia, and as an alumni member of the National Spanish Honors Society: Sigma Delta Pi, she is quite the addition to our Fusion FAM! Her two most memorable experiences abroad were when she volunteered with a hearing-impaired six-year-old girl and helped her learn English, and when she walked 111 kilometers on the Camino de Santiago.
Before joining Fusion, Lindsey spent some time working at a similar school in the Peninsula where she fell in love with the one-on-one teaching style. She left to pursue her dreams of deepening her studies of yoga and lived on a yoga farm in Grass Valley. She is thrilled to be a part of the Fusion FAM, and it is safe to say she has found her “Dream Job”!
