Lianna grew up in the New York metropolitan area. She developed an early love of literature, and spent many afternoons in the library as a teenager. She later attended Smith College, and majored in Women’s Studies. While there, she discovered her love of education along with a passion to dissect and make sense of history. She then received a Master’s degree from NYU in English Education.
Before finding a home at Fusion she taught English, history, religion, and ethics, as well as managed various after school and summer programs. Lianna is passionate about the Fusion approach to education, and loves teaching and mentoring students 1-1. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her small dog and discovering new types of tea.
