Lauren is one of the science teachers here at the Princeton campus. She has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marine and Environmental Biology and Policy from Monmouth University. As a part of her education there, Lauren took the opportunity to study abroad at The Island School on the Bahamian Island of Cape Eleuthera. During her time there, Lauren was involved in extensive field work that included research within conch middens, conducting mangrove macrobenthos surveys, and identifying and tagging fish as well as creating an overall fish inventory.
A few of her hobbies include snowboarding, surfing, traveling, camping, reading and learning new things. Fun facts: Lauren plans on conducting scientific research on sharks in the future, is a BIG adrenaline thrill seeker, and plans on visiting all 50 states by 2020!
