Katherine is a world traveler who has currently made a home in Texas. Previously, she worked as a process engineer in Houston and also as a Project Lead for the Department of Energy at Mississippi State University. She first earned her Bachelors of Science in Analytic Chemistry at St. John’s University in New York, and then her Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. During her university studies, her passion for science and technology created an opportunity for her to work with at risk students in both fourth grade and eighth grade who were struggling in STEM subjects. She also spent time tutoring students in middle school, high school and university to help simplify some of the difficult aspects of math and science. It is Katherine’s goal to combine her range of experience with her ability to be a compassionate and enthusiastic teacher that can make a positive contribution to your child’s education.
