Jessica is an Art Teacher at Fusion’s Woodbury Campus, infusing creativity to the students while teaching artistic techniques. She earned her undergraduate degree at S.U.N.Y Potsdam, studying studio arts while concentrating in ceramics. She finished up her last semester at University of Hilo in Hawaii, where she explored the culture and language of Hawaiians. She then received her Master in Art Education at Adelphi university in Garden City, focusing in sculpture and painting. While finishing her Master’s she worked as a pre-school teacher in Hauppauge. After the completion of her Masters in 2010, she worked full time in Sachem Central School District as a High School Art Teacher, where she taught Studio Arts, Media Arts and Advertising Design. She has also worked as the Arts and Crafts Coordinator at Hidden Pond Park Day Camp for the past ten summers.
Jessica enjoys traveling, going to see live music and spending time outdoors with her dog Lola, especially at the beach! She also is very active in showing her art at different galleries and selling her work at various events in NYC and Long Island. In the summer of 2012 she won the pickle eating competition and is confident she can beat anyone in a pogo-stick competition.
