Jennifer Spearman was born in El Paso, but she wasn’t in Texas long before her father’s military career took her to various states throughout grade school. She settled in upstate South Carolina where she received a Bachelors in Secondary English Education from Anderson University. She enjoyed volunteering as a church and ministry leader and participating in extracurricular activities including sports and working with animals.
Jennifer has taught grades 6-12 in 4 schools over 7 years from inner city, to rural, to college town communities. She is currently enrolled in a masters program with Clemson University for Instructional Coaching. She has also completed an add-on certification for a Gifted and Talented endorsement.
Happily married with three dog “fur babies,” Jennifer is often busy and focused on serving others in any way she can, but has an overwhelming passion for her students and their overall well-being. She was forced to leave her beloved students mid-year this past December and move to Houston for her husband’s new job. So far, this Carolina girl is enjoying the big city and is very excited to work with the Fusion family.
