Jennifer is a Humanities teacher who loves all things related to the Humanities: Literature, Writing, Languages, Art History, Mythology, and more. She has a teaching credential and gained most of her experience working as a public school teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. It was here that she learned foundational teaching skills, which she now applies at Fusion, her favorite alternative school. Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from U.C.L.A., her teaching credential from C.S.U.N, and her Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Finally, she is a Creative Journal Expressive Art Practitioner, which means that she can teach emotional well-being and renewed creativity through expressive art techniques.
On a personal note, Jennifer has more interests than she can handle, but for simplicity sake, she will keep it simple and share with you her love of the following hobbies: mixed media painting, creative writing, rock climbing, backpacking, and traveling. She has been to many places, but her favorite countries are Nepal, South Africa, and .New Zealand. She hopes to visit one new country every year for many years to come.
